Our Plastic-Free Commitment

Since early 2019 ABP Technology Ltd has made all retail packaging for all our products including our OEM PC and audio accessories brand Styletech, 100% plastic-free! This means that there has been a 100% reduction in plastic used in internal and external retail packaging in over a million products that will be going into the market every year. To date, we have saved over 250* tonnes of single-use plastic from going into landfill and we are committed to making this 500 tonnes by 2025!

We are 100% Plastic-Free in Our Packaging

The pledge came as ABP Technology Ltd joined the war on plastic in the world’s oceans. As the coverage of this environmental disaster has grown, there have also been some shocking statistics as highlighted in the image above.

These frightening facts on https://plasticoceans.org/ show just how important it is to reduce the amount of plastic waste and keep our oceans litter-free. A sentiment that is shared by many businesses worldwide in the bid to change waste behaviour.

We Have a Responsibility To Do Everything We Can To Help Fight Against Plastic Pollution Around the Globe

ABP Technology, as a market-leading video game, PC and audio accessory company, has a responsibility to do everything we can to help fight against plastic pollution around the globe. Styletech is sold around the World and the more countries we can help in their bid to reduce plastic waste the better.

This has been a hot topic in the World’s media recently, and although this has been on the agenda for the Styletech brand for a while, we wanted to find a way to reduce the plastic in all of our packaging without compromising on the protection of the product, maintaining the quality that we can deliver to our customers. After discussions with our factories and months of testing, we found a way of doing this and the project to go 100% plastic-free in retail packaging for all of our products went into full flow!

Our new packaging now includes the “Plastic Free” logo which will highlight the message of there being no plastic material in the packaging to the customers of Styletech. The logo signifies ABP Technology’s involvement in the war against plastic waste and also highlights the plastic-free opening experience to expect when purchasing Styletech.
